- About The Breeder -

Woman and dog with multiple blue ribbons and a 1st place trophy at a dog show.

Enika Schembari

My journey with dogs is deeply personal and closely tied to my life experiences. I live with a chronic, rare degenerative illness that requires frequent hospital stays and ongoing medical care, including the use of feeding tubes. Throughout this journey, dogs have played an important role in my independence, emotional support, and daily life.

Years ago, I relied on a beloved service dog named Panzer, a blue and white Staffordshire Terrier with ticking. She had an incredibly gentle temperament and was by my side through some of my most difficult health challenges. During a long hospital stay, Panzer was stolen from me. Despite exhausting every effort to find her, including flyers, alerts, contacting rescues across multiple states, animal control, and veterinary offices, I was never able to recover her. That experience was heartbreaking and life-changing.

While still in the hospital, I began searching for another dog that reminded me of her. During that time, I connected with Scott from ManMade Kennels and shared my story. I also shared a photo of Panzer. To my surprise, he informed me that he had a puppy that looked almost identical to her. When I saw him, I could not believe the resemblance.

That puppy, later named Zane, became a turning point in my life. After I was discharged, he was personally delivered to me and has been by my side ever since. Zane is intelligent, loyal, stable, and incredibly dependable. He assists me when needed and has become both my companion and support system.

Because of Zane, my passion for the XL American Bully breed grew even stronger. He opened the door to a deeper purpose and inspired me to begin carefully building my own program focused on structure, temperament, and quality. Over time, I have continued to acquire exceptional dogs that share the same stability and presence.

Due to my health, I operate on a small, intentional scale. My focus will always be quality over quantity, producing well-balanced XL Bullies that are not only structurally impressive but also loving, stable family companions.

At Bobble Head Bully’s, my goal is simple: to share the same kind of loyalty, companionship, and purpose that dogs like Zane have brought into my life.

My breeding program is focused on producing structurally sound, correct XL American Bullies with increased substance, height, and overall presence, while maintaining athleticism, balance, and functional structure.

According to the breed standard set by the American Bully Kennel Club (ABKC), XL American Bullies typically stand between 20–22 inches and weigh over 90 lbs. My long-term goal is to responsibly develop dogs that may exceed these size expectations while preserving proper structure, soundness, and movement.

I strive to produce dogs that combine family-friendly temperaments with true show-quality features, emphasizing XL and occasionally XXL size while remaining true to the integrity of the breed standard. All breeding decisions are made with careful consideration of genetically-proven bloodlines, structure, and long-term genetic consistency.

Quality will always take priority over quantity. While some color programs may be included in select litters, my primary focus is on preserving strong, clean, structurally correct dogs with sound genetics, including a preference for merle-free, solid-bodied foundation dogs.

Every pairing is intentional and evaluated with a long-term vision in mind. If this philosophy aligns with your expectations and goals, it creates the foundation for a strong and meaningful working relationship.

While these colors are present within the program, our primary focus is on preserving non-merle lineage. With the increasing popularity and overuse of merle patterns, there is a growing concern about oversaturation and the long-term impact it may have on the integrity of traditional coat lines.

Our goal is to maintain and protect the more classic, solid-colored XL American Bully, emphasizing a clean, traditional look that reflects the foundation of the breed. While we do occasionally produce merle and exotic-colored dogs, they are not the primary focus of our program. Color will never take priority over structure, health, and temperament, and all breeding decisions are made with the long-term preservation of the breed in mind.

In reality, well-bred American Bullies are known for being affectionate, loyal, and people-oriented companions. Through careful and intentional breeding decisions, I aim to preserve and strengthen these qualities, producing confident, gentle dogs that embody both the strength and temperament the breed is meant to represent.

We believe our dogs are family, and they are raised as such. Our program is based on a small farm setting where all dogs live in a home-based environment rather than kennel housing. We have 10 acres of securely fenced land along with a maintained pond area, providing ample space for exercise, conditioning, and natural development.

Our focus is on producing strong, athletic dogs with proper structure, and daily movement and space play an important role in that development. We do not support a lifestyle where dogs are confined to crates for the majority of the day while owners are away for work.

Because of this, we are intentional about matching our dogs with homes that share a similar philosophy. If that approach does not align with your expectations or lifestyle, we may not be the right fit.

Happy Owners
